THIRSTIN HOWL THE 3RD | “ELMER FLOOD” | WATCH NOW

The Polo Rican himself, Thirstin Howl the 3rd, is bringing his Lo Life ways from the city to the country in his latest video.

Thirstin’s new video “Elmer Flood,” which Complex is proud to premiere, finds the rapper on a Massachusetts farm, spitting bars in the barnyard. The clip was directed by 3Ways and has visual effects from Box-Lo. The track, which appears on Thirstin’s Survival of the Skillest album, is produced by Will Tell.

“When I was offered this location of a pet sanctuary by a fan as a video location, I got inspired to shoot visuals for ‘Elmer Flood,'” Thirstin told Complex in a statement. “Elmer is a new alter ego of mine that will definitely reappear on future tracks.”

This is Thirstin’s first video since he put out last year’s album Skillmatic. But he’s been keeping busy, promoting his book Bury Me with the Lo On, a history of his influential Lo Life crew. For more about the Lo Lifes and the history of their obsession with Polo, make sure to watch Complex’s documentary Horse Power: Hip Hop’s Impact on Polo Ralph Lauren.

In addition to promoting his book, the Skillionaire general is readying his annual Love & Loyalty weekend in Miami, which takes place on Dec. 7 and 8. You can find more information on everything Thirstin-related here, and you can watch “Elmer Flood” above.
