Hanibal Luna | “ELLA” | WATCH NOW

We have all watched in horror and disbelief at the humanitarian crisis at the U.S. southern border… immigrant families being separated, innocent people locked in cages in detention camps, children dying in government custody. We are disturbed and saddened by this display of inhumanity. All immigrants are a crucial part of the US economy, society, and culture.

But what can we do to help?

ACLU FUNDRAISER CAMPAIGN PAGE : https://action.aclu.org/teamaclu/campaign/ella-aclu-fundraisers-campaign

A group of creative professionals (musicians, songwriters, directors, producers, actors, visual effects engineers) got together to raise awareness and raise funds for The ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project.

The ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project is dedicated to protecting the civil liberties and civil rights of immigrants and to combating discrimination against them.

We have united as a group of diverse creative professionals to create a song and music video titled “Ella”.

“Ella” tells the story of immigrant families who travel to the USA in search of a better life for their families.

The fundraising campaign includes :

+ Streaming & Downloads : Every time you view the video for “Ella”, or if you listen to the song on a digital streaming service, or if you download the song, the money generated will be donated to the ACLU.

+ Direct donations from this page : We encourage you to click on the link here and make a direct donation to the ACLU

Our creative team and The ACLU thank you for viewing the video and listening to “Ella”. We thank you for donating directly to The ACLU.

We have set an ambitious goal of $50,000 by June 30..

We hope we can count on you to contribute and spread the word.

Your donation, no matter the amount, will support the ACLU’s work to safeguard everyone’s rights – especially the most vulnerable in our society.

For nearly 100 years, the ACLU has defended the constitutional rights of all people.

This is a critical moment for our country. We must unite to keep the ideals of the American Dream alive.

Thanks so much for your help!

***************

The ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project is dedicated to expanding and enforcing the civil liberties and civil rights of immigrants and to combating public and private discrimination against them. Using targeted impact litigation, advocacy, and public outreach, the ACLU protects the rights and liberties of immigrants. For more than 25 years, the ACLU has been at the forefront of almost every major legal struggle on behalf of immigrants’ rights, focusing on challenging laws that deny immigrants access to the courts, impose indefinite and mandatory detention, and discriminate on the basis of nationality. In addition, we have challenged constitutional abuses that arise from immigration enforcement at the federal, state, and local levels, including anti-immigrant “show me your papers” laws at the state level and unconstitutional enforcement tactics by the federal government and local agencies.
