Crazy Hood Productions Presents: The Weekly Rap (04/13/20) | 5 Dope Artists Get Heard!

Here at CrazyHood.com in association with Crazy Hood Productions are proud to announce “The Weekly Rap”.  This is a series dedicated to featuring independent artists. Every Monday we’ll feature music from five different artists, one song each. This week we’d like to welcome Youngin Floe, Johnny, Melz, Georgetragic and S H I N O B I to The Weekly Rap!

Youngin Floe – “Feed Me Love”

Born Chrystian Lopez, Youngin Floe is a Nicaraguan-American artist and producer, native to the San Francisco Bay Area. Being heavily influenced by the Hyphy Movement and the rise of Reggaeton as a child, Youngin has developed a refreshing sound by mixing Spanish/English word play over heavy Bay Area rhythms that break the very foundation of what music is “supposed to” sound like.  Although well-versed in various Hip Hop aspects and styles, Floe’s refusal to be restricted by a single genre has allowed him to develop a versatile selection of music with songs ranging from Hip Hop, Latin Trap, Dancehall, to Reggaeton.

Youngin has also had the pleasure of working with various artists like: Mistah Fab, Futuro Fuera de Orbita, and Los Rakas, just to name a few.

Youngin Floe is credited for being the first artist to authentically depict the Nicaraguan-American Lifestyle with songs like “Chavalo”, “Nica 101”, and “Nica 101 Remix”. With a successful Nicaragua tour out the way, Youngin’s goal of being the Nicaraguan representative of Latin American music today is within grasp.

Georgetragic – “Every App Though”

Georgetragic isn’t a freshman in the professional recording and music industry. Through his dedication to music, the diligent artist has definitely left a stamp with cutting edge songs and lyrics.

The Modesto, CA hip hop artist is no stranger to major accolades. In 2007 he received the Game Audio Network Guild Award for creating the song “God-Like” and winning the best original soundtrack for the acclaimed Sony video game God of War II. When Michael Bivins, founder and a member of American groups New Edition and Bell Biv DeVoe, applauded Georgetragic with a standing ovation at MTV’s Making the Band 4 taping it indicated that there’s something special hidden within this artist.

Born with cerebral palsy he’s always battled with people undermining his ability to be successful due to his disability, but with his courage and skills, he has proved everyone who has ever doubted him wrong and continues to do so. His love for music is his life and he thrives on giving it his all to become the artist he knows he was born to be. Jim Carry once quoted, “You can fail at something you don’t want, so you might as well take the chance doing what you love.” George will continue to do what he loves, music.
