I don’t know exactly what to do when it comes to making a real systemic change .. but I do know I want to and I have to do more. And through music, we can encourage and empower The People to challenge the oppression designed to diminish the so-called 3/5th’s of a man. I wrote this song without any curses because I wanted the world to be able to listen freely .. I want parents to tell their kids to “listen to this track here” due to the substance. Now, in no way am I trying to be a politician lol .. but making music about building pillars, creating memories, smiling, and positive energy – is what’s important to me right now. Shoutout to the people that are already laying the ground work down to help push our culture forward #shaunking #leemerritt #grassrootslaw #blm #colinkaepernick #mysonne #bencrump #killamike #Tip #angelarye #tamikamallory #patrissecullors #aliciagarza #opaltometi #yandysmith #kamalaharris #cornellwest #michaelericdyson #jemelehill #maxinewaters #traethatruth #stephenjackson #lebronjames #cthagod#kennystills #dlhughley #malcolmjenkins The People got the Power .. that’s how I’m feeling right now.
