Lil Wayne releases his highly anticipated THA CARTER V album.
The album released on September 28th 2018 is Lil Wayne’s 12th studio album and the fifth album of Tha Carter Series. The album features guest appearances from Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Mack Maine, Nivea, Kendrick Lamar and the late XXXTentacion.
Some might remember the album was originally planned to be released in 2014, however the project experienced several delays due to contractual disputes between Lil Wayne & Cash Money Records. Throughout the contractual disputes Lil Wayne & Birdman (CMR label-head) had varies personal disputes as well. In June of 2018 Lil Wayne confirmed his contract release with Cash Money.
