RG SHYNE | “SHYNE ON THE RISE”
Miami, FL – The true ambitions of a hustler, a vibe you catch when listening to the music of RG Shyne. The Miami based rapper shows signs and influences from his New York origins which make it hard to put him in a box or give him any assigned geographical placement.
If you add his Dominican roots and you’re in for an interesting mix. Sometime in the early months of 2018, I was paying attention to the local movement of aspiring MC’ s and artist alike, it was in this time frame I ran into RG Shyne. At the time he had done some collaborations with a few artists from around the way. Immediately I could tell that RG was standing ahead of the pack.
When you think of what makes a well-rounded artist, you factor in qualities like presence, flow, delivery, swag etc. All these things were evident in RG Shyne and separated him from the rest. RG is an avid rapper of Allapattah, a neighborhood in Miami Dade County. Trust and believe when I say, I am well aware and familiar with the scene and environment in Allapattah. Needless to say, this guy is pretty authentic which is a plus in this day and age where people like to do it for the gram and fake it until they make it.
You might mistake RG’s confidence for arrogance but do a little research and I guarantee you’ll end up with a newfound respect for his larger than life character & belief in himself. Not letting you forget where he comes from and where he’s going is the common thread, which sews together the body of work of RG Shyne. Every human being has inspirations and ambitions of some sort; RG is no different except for the fact that he makes sure you get the point through his music.
His Mixtape titled “Ambitions of a Breadwinner” talks about the many struggles he has dealt with and what motivates him to get up every day and go out and get it. All subjects that can be very relatable to anybody, you don’t have to be 100% born and raised in the hood to understand. As I’ve followed his career I am most excited about him working with B.W.A (Breadwinner Association). You already know what these guys do, with headliners in their camp like Kevin Gates and BWA Ron. I feel this is a perfect setting for RG Shyne to grow and push his potential to the next level. I can’t wait to see what will come out of this, with RG and BWA’s experience and guidance, you can expect a lot more hard hitting tracks.
