KING HOODIE | “THE ERA OF THE COOL IS UPON US”

Miami, FL – The city where you are able to enjoy beautiful women, famous clubs, tourist locations, and beautiful beaches. This combination makes Miami a melting pot of different races and culture, giving the city its unique sound. But underneath the beautiful and vibrant Latin sounds, lies the true pulse of the city. This pulse showcases the real and ugly reality that true Miami natives endure, a reality they persevere to fulfill their dreams.

From the place that gave us Trick Daddy, 2 Live Crew, Pitbull, Trina and many more. Miami pioneered figures in hip-hop who laid the path for even more people to come. These pioneers entered the game and drew a spotlight to Dade County and the culture of what our daily life is about. With the bar set so high people have been looking for new blood to take over the reign and continue to push the culture forward. Given the current state of Hip-Hop, in a world where everyone is a trapper mumbling his or her way through life. What would it take to accomplish this?

I for one have been searching for a long time, ever so patiently keeping my ear to the streets. And the streets have spoken. Every now and then between all these hard rocks, you come across a gem, in this case, it happens to be King Hoodie. Among a vast group of real true hip-hoppers in the underground scene in Miami, his name kept reoccurring all throughout the city. As an avid pusher of the culture, I did my due diligence and found more than enough evidence to solidify King Hoodie as one of the up and coming raw talents out of Miami. He hails out of North Miami Beach, Florida. With his unique tone and unique flow, King Hoodie is the type of rapper who captures your attention, along with his storytelling ability to depict his ambitions & struggles. You will find his work to be very motivating if you’re the type of person who tends to gravitate towards content with substance and meaning behind it. No bull, this kid lets me know there are still smart people out there. He’s able to fuse the trap sound with intelligent ideals.

Versatility seems to be no problem with him supplying songs such as Anatomy, Playgrounds, Cursed and Spaceships. Not to mention his creativity in delivering on different subject matters and music styles. Make no mistake King Hoodie is a young, peaceful and humble soul but a savage lyrically and will snap on you at the drop of a dime. His hunger and ambition are evident in his work ethic and hustle. There’s literally no shame in his game. Another highlight and a favorite of mine is while the latest trend in hip-hop is to troll the internet, King Hoodie uses his platform to give people of all generations some positive energy. A much-needed sense of search and you shall find, work and you shall achieve, an overall positive vibe to keep you going. His work embodies everything from A Tribe Called Quest to J. Cole while maintaining his Miami pride. No matter what generation you come from, you’re bound to find something in the music of King Hoodie that you can relate to.

As a member of the Cool Era Collective, individuals, who like King Hoodie are set in stone to rise in the up and coming years. King Hoodie is just one of the links in a chain of artists who are soon to make it to stardom. As this wave of talent arises you can expect more from artists like DynaEdyne, Jeromelo, Riiah World, beatsbyYEE and production by Applejax, all intricate key components that make up the Cool Era. This is a movement that I’m sure will take us all by storm.

So by the powers vested in me by CrazyHood.com, I declare that King Hoodie’s music is not only a necessity, but an essential key to keeping hip-hop culture pushing forward.
