Trek6 and Mother Superia receive Crazy Hood Honorary Award!
On Saturday December 2nd, Crazy Hood Productions celebrated their 30th anniversary by hosting a free event @ Esquina de Abuela in Miami, FL. At this event the crew honored Trek6 and Mother Superia as honorary members of Crazy Hood Productions!
Being the 30th year Anniversary of Crazy Hood Productions, and receiving accolades for their own contributions to the Miami Hip-Hop scene, DJ EFN and the Crazy Hood crew wanted to take the opportunity to pay it forward and start this new tradition. A tradition where Crazy Hood honors other people, and making them Honorary members of Crazy Hood productions and presenting them with their own plaques. An honor that recognizes them for their outstanding contributions and inspiration to the Miami Hip-Hop scene!
In the scene, Trek6 is known for his graffiti work throughout the decades. His iconic “Everlasting Boombox” is a landmark in Miami. Recently, Trek was honored with his own proclamation day by the city of Miami for his community efforts. Trek6 is also a cast member of the TV Series “Coming Home” which finds DJ EFN and the Crazy Hood crew visiting countries outside the United States to find hip hop. Trek6 and DJ EFN’s friendship goes back to their middle school days.
Mother Superia, is one of the first hip hop artists to receive a major record deal (Island Music / 4th and Broadway). Coming up in the Miami hip-hop scene of the early 90’s (the same scene Crazy Hood grew up in), Mother Superia was lyrically compared to NAS, and was one of the main artist repping Miami and it’s local hip hop scene!

The Crazy Hood 30th Anniversary event was presented by Monster Music. DJ EFN and the Crazy Hood Crew hosted this event featuring DJ sets by Fly Guy, DJ Craze, Statik Selektah and many more!
The evening also had live performances from Shottie, Mother Superia, Rahzel and others!
The event included a cypher room for MC’s, food vendors and Monster Energy keeping the party going with energy drinks.
Back in October, Crazy Hood Productions was honored with their own proclamation by Commissioner Robert J. Gonzalez. Making October 20th, 2023 “Crazy Hood Productions” day. The Commissioner also presented the crew with their own key to the city of Kendall, Florida!
And in November of 2023, DJ EFN was honored with the key to Miami-Dade county by Commissioner Keon Henderson!
